Where have I been?

  Well once again this week I missed my Scrapbook Sunday post and yesterday I missed my color of the week.  The color of the week will come later this week because I want to catch up on other things.  But you ask where have I been?  This is my year of baby and I finally finished group of gifts I gave my hubbies cousin.  Today I am sharing the first thing I made.  This is called a diaper cake and the tutorial is here.  In the tutorial she says it is so easy and let me tell you it is.  And they turn out adorable.  I made Chipboard letters from the new Sizzix lower case dies from the new Stampin Up catalog (thanks Stasia for letting me borrow these).   Instead of buying decorations to stick into the cake I made them with the Sizzix Scallop Circle #2.  Fianlly the cake topper was little slippers Alex found at the Carters store.  It was completely his idea to put them on the top and they look adorable.
