Presents for Christopher part 2

    
My nephew is just like Daniel now in that he also love Thomas the Tank engine.  So for his second birthday we bought him some Thomas books, movies and Daniel's favorite train James.  I decided to decorate his bags and tags with the Choo Choo set.  I also pulled out some of my Pacific Point paper from last year.  I am sorry I did not appreciate that color until it was gone.

Presents for Christopher part one

 
My nephew's 2nd birthday was on the 17th and I some bags and tags for him.  The first set were these.  I decorated them with a santa and the ornaments from  the Delightful Decorations set.  I decorated the bag and tag this way because I gave Christopher Pj's just like I gave my boys.

Day 22, 23, 24

I saw this cup on Splitcoast and had to make one of these.

December 22- Today I decided instead of a cup of joe a cup of treates.

I gave Daniel some cars from the movie Cars and Alex more Pokemon cards

December 23- Today I give you the gift of seeing Alvin and the Chipmunks next Tuesday.

December 24- I give you the last gift of Advent.

21st day of Advent

I am getting close to the end.  I can't believe it.  Today I made triangle boxes.   I tried them last year, but for some reason I didn't like the results.   I also sort of made up my own punch snowman.  This is also the colors of the week Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red.

December 21st- We are so near my boys.  Today I am giving you guys another buiding set.

20th Day of Advent

Once again punch art.  I saw this on splitcoast and had to make one.  Behind the punch are it a box just like the Grinch's box. 

December 20-  Today boys I give each of your some of your favorite things.

19th day of Advent

I think this is the year of Punch art boxes.  I saw this post and had to make the Moose.

December 19- The holiday is almost upon us.  Just wind it up today. 

I gave them a wind up seal.

18th Day of Advent

Today's box was originally the idea I had for the box for the boys class.  However after Alex saw the Grinch that became the box for his class.  As I did yesterday I used the pattern for the box from Inking Idaho, but this time I kept it the same size.  I found a pattern for a stocking. 

December 18th, today I am giving Alex a game to play and Daniel a toy.

16th Day of Advent

 I saw this and had to create a penguin.  Alex loves penguins and I knew this would go over great with him.  I used basket as my basic box, but cut it down to fit the top note.

Today's post is actually the colors of the week: Old Olive, Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla.  I made a gable box as shown here.

With my newphew's birthday and a lot of Christmas things going one I cheated today and used a box from later year.

12th Day of Advent

Today's post I wish I had a chance to take a picture of it before the boys got to it.  I completely forgot.  I made this box from a pattern, but I can't remember where I found it.

December 12- Today's gift on the 12th day of Advent is another building set.

11th Day of Advent

On the 11th day of Advent I gave the boys some more gift cards.  So here are two of those gift card holders that I have been making. 

December 11- On the 11th day of Advent, I am surprising you on your day off with a day at Chuck E Cheese.

10th day of Advent

Today's box I had to make when I saw this post.  My family are huge fans of the Grinch.  I first made the Grinch.   Then made the box from an 8.5 by 11 paper I scored 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10.  I scored 2/5 along the bottom.  Once  Alex saw me making this box and wants me to make it for his class.  His teacher is a huge literature fan will love it.

December 10-  On the 10th day of Advent I thought of leaving you a Grinchy treat of nothing, but instead I grew a heart. 

I gave them some Pez.

9th Day of Advent

Today's boxes I created on my own, but it probably has been done a ton of times.  I cut a square 7x7 and scored each side 1 1/2.  This way I had a box big enough to hold a ball for Alex and a stuffed toy for Daniel.  It also uses the colors of the week Always Artichoke and Ruby Red.

December 9- On the ninth day of Advent I give to you boys a stuffed friend and a puzzle ball. 
 

8th Day of Advent

I loved this punch art Santa when I saw it on the Chic' n Scratch Live blog.  I can't find it right now, but I know it is on her blog.  I also made this box from her blog.

December 8th-  On the eight day of Advent, today I am giving you a sweet treat.

I gave them Jelly Belly's.

6th and 7th Day of Advent

Today I am playing catch up.

 December 6- The sixth day of Advent gift gave me a chuckle.  I hope it does for your too when Candy Happens.

I gave them a pooping Reindeer (the poop was candy).

 

December 7-  On the seventh day of Advent I am giving you something to build.

I gave them a Lego set.
 

 

 

5th Day of Advent

Now I have already posted a picture of today's gift a few weeks ago.  But this is what I used for the gift cards I gave the boys today.  I wrote:
 
December 5-  On the fifth day of Advent my gift to both of you is to be saved for a summer day. 

I got them a gift card to a mini golf place near us.

4th Day of Advent

On the 4th day of Advent I sort of cheated.  I used something I made last year for the boys.  I am giving them pens so I figured this would work best.

This is what I wrote-

December 4- The fourth day of Advent I wanted to give you something to write and light your way.

3 Day of Advent

Today I am giving the easiest box to make.  This is sort of my little go to box.  It is called a Tiny Treat box.   I am giving them a tiny soccer video game.  This is what I wrote to the boys:

December 3- On the third day of Advent, I decided to give you some entertainment for the ride to Great Wolf.

2nd Day of Advent

On the second day of Advent I decided to go with one of the gift cards I have for the boys.  So I made this cute gift card holder.  I was inspired by this gift card holder.  When I made it I thought the scallop sqaure would work in the same way.  I guess I was right it did.  I also used the colors of the week Rich Razzleberry (instead of Elegant Eggplant), Always Artichoke, and Very Vanilla.

Today I wrote-

December 2- On the second day of Advent my boys I am giving your the gift to create a new friend.

It is a gift card to Build a Bear.
 

On the first Day of Christmas

December 1st is here.  I can't believe it.  It is the 1st so here begins my 24 day of Christmas. 

 On the first day of Christmas I knew I wanted to fill the wagon I made (just like the one I made here) with Legos.  As soon as I found the Lego Christmas tree I knew what I wanted to fill it with.  This is what I wrote:

December 1- Welcome my boys to the first day of Advent.  I thought today's treat a wagon full of Christmas, that you could proudly display in your room.

A gift for Jaiden

I created this for my husband's cousin's new baby boy.  If you remember back in September I was creating a bunch of things for a shower.  This was the first time we actually got to meet him, so I made this bucket based on something I did a few months ago.  I also knew everyone Mom wants pictures of her kid so I also gave her a gift certificate for the Picture People.

Giant Nugget boxes

If I don't say it enough besides Stasia's blog the other blog that inspires me so is Inking Idaho.  I love her work.  I don't think there has been a thing she has done I did not like.  I even find myself liking stampsets I would never had given a second look.  I saw this post and had to recreate it.  I made two the purple one for my sister and the other for my hubby's cousin.

Autumn thank you

This card I created with the colors of the week Really Rust, Sage Shadow, Mellow Moss.  It was a great opportunity to use my Level 1 Hostess set.  I was inspired by this card a created a while ago based on my buddy Stasia's orginal card.  I used the stampset Leaf Lines which really is a a great price.
